About the Site Creator
Basil is a PhD student in Musicology and Music Theory at Boston University. He holds an MTS in Liturgical Studies and Musicology from the Boston University School of Theology and College of Fine Arts and a BA in Musicology and Composition from the University of San Diego. A younger, shorter Basil studied at the Coronado School of the Arts, New England Conservatory and the Boston Archdiocesan Choir School; in days gone by, he was the principal soprano soloist for the Boston Boy Choir.
Basil is currently engaged in writing and composing the books and music for the musical comedy The Strange Tale of Snow White, His Stepmother and the Seven Lovely Dwarves, a twisted re-telling of the traditional fairy tale. A one act comic opera, The Frat Party, will premiere at Boston University on May 13.
